From the Program Coordinator

Time has flown by since we released our last T.E.A.C.H. Tribune. We are pleased with the number of new recipients that we have funded during this time! New participation comes thanks to those of you who share your experiences and encourage others to consider attending college with support from T.E.A.C.H. MINNESOTA.

The best outreach for our program actually comes from YOU!! Every time you recommend T.E.A.C.H. , every time you talk positively about your experience, and every time you respond to someone’s questions, you are an ambassador for the T.E.A.C.H. MINNESOTA Scholarship Program.

As the T.E.A.C.H. program coordinator, I look to you for statements that reflect this message and I use them in the marketing materials and legislative pieces our Minnesota Child Care Resource & Referral Network staff design. Here is a statement used in our legislative piece last year: “I simply would not have had the opportunity to return to school without the help of T.E.A.C.H. I have learned so much about caring for children, what they need and what they are capable of. "

We encourage you to send your inspirational quotes, stories and pictures related to your educational journey with T.E.A.C.H to our office.  We enjoy hearing how continuing your education has impacted your work with children and families. And we need new material for our upcoming legislative session and marketing pieces!

Did you notice our new LOGO?

The T.E.A.C.H. MINNESOTA logo has been redesigned! The new design is an initiative of the national T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Project based in North Carolina. Each of the 22 participating states will incorporate their information into the logo, as you see we are doing.
