Getting Started: The Building Quality Checklist
All child care providers are encouraged to complete the Building Quality Checklist in order to create an individualized plan for new learning. Child care providers may access CCR&R grants, training, consultation and professional development advising as they put their Building Quality Plan into action.

A group of qualifying child care providers will receive additional Building Quality grant dollars and low-cost training.
- Environment Rating Scale Consultation
Work with your local CCR&R consultant on this important rating tool.
- Building Quality Grants
Receive grant dollars.
Available to qualifying child care providers and awarded based on need.
- Low-cost Training
Attend low-cost training(s) designed to prepare you for a quality rating and the soon-to-be-introduced Minnesota Child Care Credential.
- Professional Development Advising
Work with your local CCR&R team to plan your professional growth.
