Minnesota Colleges Online Directory for Early Childhood Education, Child Development Programs

Introduction to the Minnesota College Online Directory

As a potential or current T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MINNESOTA scholarship recipient, we want you to find the right college program to meet your educational goals.  Depending on your personal situation, you may prefer a program that provides an online option or you may want to pursue an associate’s degree that transfers toward a bachelor’s degree program at a college near you.

The colleges included in the Minnesota College Online Directory have provided a wide range of information about their early childhood/child development programs that can make your college choice easier.  For example, each college provided the average number of courses they offer in early childhood/child development each semester, including the number of online courses.  For the community and technical colleges providing associate degrees, you can find information on articulation agreements they have established with four year institutions in Minnesota.  We included the general Web site for each school, so you can browse their sites for more information.

As you review our online college directory to consider the school (or schools) that’s best for you, here a few questions it may be useful to ask yourself:

  1. What are my final educational goals?  If I want to get a bachelor’s degree eventually, am I enrolled in an associate’s degree program that will easily transfer to a bachelor’s degree program?

  2. Am I able to commute to the school closest to me?  Or would I prefer an online option like E-LECT for achieving my associate degree goals?

  3. If I use all the credits available through my T.E.A.C.H. MINNESOTA scholarship and want to continue taking more classes during that contract year, can I afford the tuition at my college of choice?

Our online directory is one of many tools for you to use as you make your college decision.  Please contact our T.E.A.C.H. MINNESOTA office for more information about the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship and how to choose the right school for you.
