  • Dakota County Technical College- National Child Development Associate (CDA) For-Credit Training Program (online) 

  • Leech Lake Tribal College (face-to-face)

  • Mesabi Range Community & Technical College-Child Care Competency Certificate. (online and/or face-to-face)

  • Minnesota West Community & Technical College offers courses that count towards training hours for the National Child Development Associate (CDA). Contact Laine Rieger (laine.rieger@mnwest.edu) for more information.

** If you are employed by a child care or school-age care program you are responsible for 10% of tuition and books and your employer is responsible for 10% of tuition and books.

If you own or operate a licensed family child care program, you are responsible for 20% of tuition and books.

** *One contract consists of three semesters or four quarters. Example, if you were awarded in the spring your contract would consist of (semesters) spring, summer and fall or (quarters) winter, spring, summer and fall.
